Yet Another Byte

A quite basic feature, one would think. A simple idea: rather than keep around a whole bunch of disks, make an image, and store those images on a hard drive. Less disks, much easier access.

If the Microsoft Connect feature request is anything to go by, there are no plans to add this. Which is annoying, coz that means a third party app is required, and many of them come with somewhat suspect ‘helper’ software or browser toolbars *sudder*.

Ah well…
